Ballads Why, Freak'in Me refined with female vocals from Marsha Ambrosius and Slow with recognizable effects from Timbaland and the album closers are most beautiful slow songs Overdose about abuse and not only a drug one and an optimistic bonus track Love Brings Change. The latter mainly offers more soulful romantic ballads which demonstrate Foxx’ sensual nature and a wide vocal range.
Definitely one of the album’s highlights is an R&B ballad She Got Her Own featuring Ne-Yo and Fabolous refined with a nice sample and the title Intuition Interlude is a beautiful boundary between the first and the second parts of the album. It is practically by a tradition that Kanye West joins Foxx on another danceable composition Digital Girl on which the presence of The-Dream is also marked whereas T-Pain has contributed a verse to Blame It, a bit overloaded with special effects. A light danceable track I Don't Need It with a memorable chorus and simple lyrics contrasts with a heavier Number One performed with Lil’ Wayne both of them being ready-made club hits. about the soul mate its main character has finally found. The record opens with a contagious and very melodious composition Just Like Me featuring T.I. Besides it shows that 90 percent of collaborations are concentrated in the first part of the album. One look at the Intuition track-list is enough to understand that Jamie Foxx has been once again lucky to work with the most venerable R&B and hip-hop performers and it is no secret that this makes already half the album’s success. On the whole the album proves to be the same light and soulful as both of Jamie Foxx’ first works and will give you over an hour of feeling good, romance and never-ending optimism. R&B, hip-hop and pop music are mixed on Intuition embodying in 15 great tracks each of which is refined with a penetrating singing of a person who has once brilliantly played the role of who but Ray Charles. The new record which is due to appear in stores at the end of this year undoubtedly takes off where the second album, 2005’s Unpredictable that eventually got unbelievably successful, has ended. At the end of this year the talented songwriter and performer once again joins efforts with his long-time friends Kanye West, Timbaland and other outstanding figures of modern show business in order to record his third studio creation Intuition.
